Couture Events and Couture Boutique opened on the third floor of a charming Victorian house in Little Italy.
The event side of the business helps brides plan their weddings from start to finish. The boutique side provides all the glittery gems the bride or her maids might need for the big day. “This is a new concept. Most of the time, brides can’t drag their dresses around with them to various jewelry stores, so they have to wing it. Here they can come in with their dress and look at the jewelry of several designers who design specifically for bridal wear and choose the best fit for them,” Tien says.
Couture Boutique works with many local designers, like Noon, Sophie & Chloe, and Mimi & Lu, as well as a couple from Los Angeles like Ten Things and Liz Law
The event side works with its preferred vendors—photographers, stationary designers, caterers, and florists. Couture Events mostly plans weddings, but they’re set up to plan any event. They are capable of coordinating everything from start to finish, month of, or the week of your wedding.
