Mayor of Newark, New Jersey Cory Booker and The Caliber Collection-–officially launched in November of last year, and has already generated $20,000 to support the city’s gun buyback program.
The collection is a line of steel and brass bracelets and cuffs created from firearms and bullet casings seized by the Newark Police Department. Each gun or bullet casing’s serial number and the word “Newark” is embedded into the jewelry, and prices range from $150 for a steel cuff to $375 for a brass bangle with a diamond.
