Wear red in honor of Ruth Goldsmith–my mother.

Posted on 1 min read

5 years ago my mother died of a heart attack. I miss her more than I ever would have imagined.

Tomorrow, I will be wearing red in honor of her for the American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day—it’s just one way I can show my support and bring awareness to a disease  more fatal to women than any other.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in American women, killing more than a third of them.

Here are some of my favorite red things: Wear Red on Feb. 3rd.

Hanky Panky--it's said to be good luck to wear red panties.

MIU MIU Belted cotton and linen-blend shirt dress $1,290
