5 years ago my mother died of a heart attack. I miss her more than I ever would have imagined.
Tomorrow, I will be wearing red in honor of her for the American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day—it’s just one way I can show my support and bring awareness to a disease more fatal to women than any other.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in American women, killing more than a third of them.
