Cecelia’s

The best thing about shopping at Cecilia’s in Mission Hills is the confidence you’ll have knowing that the owner, Elizabeth Leffler, will hook you up. She’s the hip friend that helps you get dressed using clothes from her really cool closet.

Leffler began in fashion as a stylist working for famed music photographer Paul Natkin. Who has photographed such musicians as Tom Petty, Prince, John Mayor, and Freddie Mercury. What Leffler found from working as stylist is herlove of working one-on-one with clients and helping people find their perfect look.

With exposed wood beams, hard-wood floors, beautiful chandeliers, and pink curtains, the clothes are hung around the store according to color and style.

She’s made note of how women shop and applies it to making their shopping experience as easy as possible.Trained at the Fashion Institute of Merchandise Marketing, Leffler understands that it’s better to be on trend not trendy. Her target audience is working women who need their clothes to easily transition from day to night. And given the proximity in Mission Hills to so many schools, Cecelia’s also caters to a lot of moms, and they all want to look cute.

Since Leffler opened she’s offered exclusively local jewelry and many local clothing designers. One of her close friends is Brook Catherine of BCAT Threads. Catherine designs clothes in a 1940’s style with a modern flare. Her high-waisted skirts have become her signature. She creates sexy pieces that allow them to be worn for work or play.

Leffler dresses women keeping their insecurities in mind. She helps them find clothes that make them feel pretty. She’s the friend that doesn’t criticize. She’s honest but not brutal. And Cecilia’s has all the clothes and accessories to look classic, trendy or totally unique. She’s the perfect BFF.
