In 2022, I was awarded the Rosalynn Carter Fellowship in Mental Health Journalism. My project was a series of articles focused on the mental health of Black teachers and educators in the U.S

I’m a proud member of the National Association of Black Journalists and a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.
